The Lord instructed His disciples to go to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the end of the earth to proclaim His Gospel. He still calls us to go and this means Fairview Baptist Church has a responsibility that extends from our own neighborhood to the nations around the world.
We fulfill this obligation locally through efforts such as block parties and backyard Bible clubs and studies. Extending beyond our local community of Columbus and the Golden Triangle region, we support and maintain missions and missionaries throughout the world and send teams on a regular basis to locations such as Guatemala, Haiti/Dominican Republic, England and various regions and nations in Africa and East Asia, to name a few.
God also calls us to be hands and feet of Christ in showing love and compassion to those in need. Through our crisis team and other outreach ministries, we work in concert with local agencies to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of those enduring hardships in our community.
We strive as a church family to live out the simple command to Love God and Love people through our missions and outreach ministries.
